General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

This privacy notice concerns the data that we collect from you when you visit our website to see the educational services we offer. Collecting that data, we act as responsible of the data processing and, according to the law, we are obliged to provide you information about us, for the cause and the way we use your information, and for the rights you have on them.

Who we are?

The COMPANY OF RESEARCH, EDUCATION, INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORTH AEGEAN REGION “ELORIS S.A. C.F.L.L.2” is an educational institution that is active in vocational training and adult education.

In parallel, it provides support services for the promotion of unemployed trainees in employment.

It addresses certain groups of the population for who it designs – organizes and implements Vocational Training Programs. These groups are:

UNEMPLOYED (PRIMARY, SECONDARY AND THIRD-LEVEL EDUCATION)
UNEMPLOYED YOUTH
LONGTERM UNEMPLOYED
INDIVIDUALS WHOA ARE THREATENED OR EXCLUDED FROM THE LABOR MARKET (People with Disabilities, Remigrants, Refugees, Migrants, Asylum Seekers etc)
EMPLOYED
EDUCATORS/TRAINERS

The C.F.L.L. (Center For Lifelong Learning) has developed and maintains an informal network consisting of labor market needs detection mechanisms, social partners, and enterprises that are active in the broader region.

Also, it keeps in contact with enterprises who have partnered with, both in the context of the continuous learning programs’ apprenticeship that it has submitted and in the effort to make the results of the implemented programs public.

We are not obliged to have a Data Protection Officer, so any questions regarding the use of your data have to be addressed to the abovementioned contact info.

What personal data do we collect?

While browsing our website, we collect automatically certain data using Cookies (ex. IP or preferences information, device information), which is data that allow us to remember you and your preferences while you use this website. We use Cookies for collecting that kind of data. Your IP address, which we use in order so we can record your interest and your visits to our website. Also, it’s possible the personal data filling in with contact forms and online applications on https://eloris.gr/ . For those purposes, we collect your personal data and their processing is mandatory for the forwarding and completing your registration procedures and generally satisfying your requests. Your data that is generated from the contact forms will be maintained for a period of 20 years.

How we use your data?

This privacy statement notifies that we, the C.F.L.L. (Center For Lifelong Learning), will collect and use your personal data in order to provide you our services, to keep in contact with you and manage requests and complaints that you submit to us. Also, to better optimize our services for the purposes of (direct) forwarding and of the labor market.

The C.F.L.L. will process (collect, save, and use) the data that you provide to us in a way that is compatible with the EU’s General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR). We will try to maintain your personal information corrected and updated and to not keep them for more than it is necessary. The period that certain types of personal data will have to be kept can also conditioned by specific regulations and demands of the business sector and the agreed practices

Why we collect that data?

In order for you to be forwarded to our website and be able us to provide our services, there is the need for us to collect personal information. In any case, we commit to guarantee that the information we collect and use is suitable for that purpose and they don’t lead to an invasion of your privacy.

The information that we collect with the use of Cookies allow us to remember you and your preferences while using our website so we can provide you better browsing experience and services of higher quality. Specifically, with the use of the Google Analytics tool, we use that information in order to detect the total number of visitors on our website, to better understand the way with which they find and use the website and to see the course they followed while browsing the website. While Google records information such as your geographical position, your device, your browser, and your operating system, none of that information makes you personally known to us.

Do you intend to share my personal information with someone else?

There is a possibility to share your personal information with third parties who relate to our website during our collaboration. Possible third parties with who we may share your personal information are obliged to keep your data secure and processed only in a legal framework. The C.F.L.L. doesn’t process and doesn’t forward your sensitive personal data to third parties without your explicit consent, only in case there is another obligation or legal reason for processing.

Your data are being saved into the processing system of our website’s host and other internet services’ hosts, such as Google, who are based in the USA, and they are certified in the EU-US Privacy Policy, having adequate protection measures.

The C.F.L.L. does not use the information you provide to us in order to make any automated decision that may affect you.

For how long do we keep your personal information?

We keep your browsing data usually anonymously and for the time period that you stay inside our website. However, it is possible for your personal data to be kept for 2 years the most. In case you submit to us any request, the preservation period of the data you provide us (e.x. your contact info) varies in dependency of the meeting period of your request.

Your rights regarding your data

The C.F.L.L., after your request, can confirm you which information we keep for you and which of those are being processed. Since the C.F.L.L. maintains personal data for you, you have the right to request the following information:

Identity and contact information of the Officer for Processing who has determined how and why your data will be processed.
The reason for the processing while also the legal framework for the processing.
