Cultural Tourism is a growing industry and many employment opportunities are being opened all over the world. Therefore, there is an increased demand for specialists in the field while specialized qualifications on cultural tourism are rare.
The CULTVET project offers an enormous opportunity to people interested to work in the field of cultural tourism. It provides a professional qualification jointly developed by 4 Vocational Education and Training (VET) organizations from 4 Mediterranean European countries: Nuevas Profesiones from Spain, Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore “Luigi Einaudi” from Italy, Eurosuccess Consulting from Cyprus and the Company of Research, Education, Innovation and Development of North Aegean Region S.A. – ELORIS S.A. in Greece. The project offers also the opportunity for an internationally recognized accreditation of the skills acquired by ACTA – Certification, Training and Assessment Body and Spin Off Company of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
This joint qualification includes 200 hours of classroom-based lessons as well as 300 hours of guaranteed practical training in an enterprise or organization active in the field of cultural tourism. Eight of the students who will participate in the course [2 from each participating country] will also have the opportunity to make their practical training abroad.
The curriculum of the CULTVET Joint Qualification is built around the following competencies:
• Understanding the concept of cultural and heritage tourism and its value
• Interfacing with customers and managing customers experience
• Project Management for cultural tourism experiences
• ICT and Technology for Cultural Tourism
• Marketing and communication

The Joint Qualification is offered completely for free and only for the Academic Year 2019-2020. However, there are only 25 positions available in each country. Download and complete the application form here (Application Form) and send
